A deal has been concluded with Bjork’s record company, One Little Indian, to release the Beowulf & Grendel soundtrack very soon!

Meanwhile, here's a little teaser! This cue is toward the end of the movie when Selma says “So Hrothgar taught you nothing.” past Beowulf's line, “Sleep, Grendel”. The piece starts off very quietly, so be sure to turn up your volume.
Note: You must have an updated version of RealPlayer or I-Tunes to play the cue.

~~~ WRATH OF GODS ~~~
UPDATE! Director Jon Gustafsson's "WRATH OF GODS" had a very successful airing on CBC's Newsworld! Unfortunately, there are now pirated copies floating around the internet. PLEASE, if you see anyone offering a copy of the film, contact Jon at Wrath of Gods to report them! Jon has put so much of his time and energy into this film and we don't want to see him financially affected by this.
The DVD's release has been delayed for a short time. However, we hope to be announcing upcoming film festivals where Wrath will be premiering. Meanwhile, you can view a few clips of Jon's documentary here.
BEOWULF SAILS SOUTH (Press Release)
The Film Works, Eurasia Motion Pictures and Goodweird are pleased to announce an agreement with Union Station Media, a joint venture of Alliance Atlantis and Arclight Films International, for the U.S. theatrical release of Beowulf & Grendel, directed by Sturla Gunnarsson and written by Andrew Rai Berzins. The film opens in six US cities, including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, Seattle and San Francisco, starting on June 16. Star Gerard Butler will be making extensive appearances to promote the release - and appease his fans.
"We're very happy with this deal", says producer Eric Jordan. "Equinoxe did a great job with the film in Canada. The Canadian release proved that people want to see this film on the big screen. U.S. fans mounted an intense Internet campaign to bring the film south, and when they started chartering buses to see it in Canada, Union Station took notice."
Following a successful theatrical release of Beowulf & Grendel across Canada, Equinoxe Releasing is sending out a custom-boxed DVD of the film on July 18. In anticipation of the July release, Beowulf aficionados and Gerard Butler's many, insatiable fans have already driven the DVD to the top 5 of the Amazon.ca's bestseller list.
Beowulf & Grendel, starring Gerard Butler, Stellan Skarsgård and Sarah Polley, is adapted from the seminal 9th century epic poem Beowulf, which tells the bloody tale of the warrior Beowulf's battle with Grendel, a great and murderous troll.
June 18, 2005:
At this point, there is no guarantee that Beowulf will be shown at all, much less as one of the two Gala premieres; however, it IS what the director Sturla wants. There will not be official confirmation of scheduled films until August... Both the writer, Andrew, and the site administrator, Jon (http://beowulfandgrendel.com/) who was working on post-production in Iceland two weeks ago, have expressed a willingness to talk to interested fans at the Festival. ~Chantal-Lise Mirman, online promoter
June 8, 2005:
"Rumours to the contrary, this movie won't be hitting general screens until the first quarter of 2006, with the exception of a late-summer/fall festival premiere. And, frustrating as it is for the fans, NO decisions have yet been made on how wide or limited the release will be." ~Andrew Rai Berzins, Screenwriter, "Beowulf and Grendel"
May 20, 2005:
"Thanks for the message. I am back in beautiful Iceland now, editing the Making Of. Once we know the dates for premieres and such, we will post it on the web. Till then, all ideas of how to promote the film over the internet are appreciated." ~Jon Gustafsson, Site Administrator, "Beowulf and Grendel" Official Website
May 19, 2005:
I heard from the guy in charge of the Beowulf and Grendel site (Jon Gustafsson). He promised to keep me up to date on the release and premiere...a step (baby step) in the right direction.
A caveat..he was very nice and said "we hope we can count on you to help spread the word - we hope to continue to work with fans from all over the world. Any suggestions and ideas are welcome but no firm plans have been made yet." Sounds promising... ~Donna, online promoter
